Checking In and Out
Can I check in early?
We do allow early check-in, depending on if there are guests checking out before you and if housekeeping has time to prepare.
Can I check out late?
We do allow late check-out, depending on if there is a guest checking in after you and if housekeeping has time to prepare.
Inside the Chalets
What is your smoking policy?
All chalets are non-smoking.
Are there bathtubs in the chalets?
Yes, all chalets except 1760 and 667 have a bathtub, and 1716 has a jetted tub.
Are the indoor fireplaces wood burning or gas?
All indoor fireplaces are wood burning.
Is wood provided for the fireplace and firepits?
We provide wood for the indoor fireplaces, but prefer that guests use fallen wood found on the property when they are using the outdoor firepits.
How many cars are allowed in the driveway?
The rule at Innsbrook is one per bedroom.
How big are the lakes?
The lakes vary in size and are good in size for paddle boating/boarding, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and playing at the beach.
Can I bring my own kayak?
If we want to go paddle boating, do we need to make a reservation?
There’s either a paddle boat, kayaks, or a canoe (not a pontoon boat) at our lakefront chalets for your exclusive use. There are no boat rentals available at Innsbrook.
Are there fishing poles in the chalets? Can we rent them?
The fishing poles and supplies that are at the chalet have been left behind by other renters; we don’t supply these, but you are welcome to use what you find. We suggest picking some up at Wal-Mart or you can rent fishing and boating equipment from the resort.
Do I need a fishing license?
No license is necessary.
Where is the closest grocery store?
We recommend you bring all of your groceries with you for your convenience. There are some options available (see the page dedicated to FAQs) and there is also a convenience store at Innsbrook called the Country Market, but it is closed during the winter months.
Do you have a babysitter list?
Sarah Bernard Chalets does not offer that service. Please check with the resort.
What kind of food does the restaurant have?
Pizza, burgers, bar food. Menu available online.
Are there hayrides?
Yes, you can book them directly though the stables website.
Do we need a reservation for the Sunday breakfast buffet?
None is required, but we recommend you make a reservation just in case.
