Welcome to one of our latest vacation properties, our Wilderness Escape Chalet!

The Wilderness Chalet is tucked privately into a wooded setting, complete with a playground for the kids (our only chalet with an outdoor play area!). And you will love the surprise hidden gem of this chalet – Lake Wunderbar through the woods.

Walk the short 1-minute path and you’ll be greeted by the most beautiful lake, about 6 acres in size, completely surrounded by trees. It will take your breath away! Enjoy kayaking or canoeing on the lake (we have 2 kayaks and 1 canoe for your use), or simply sit in one of our chairs and enjoy the quiet of the water. Great for fishing and swimming, too!

Back to the chalet, you’ll find a full kitchen, two full baths, a great room, and expansive deck. The Wilderness Escape is intended to be just that – an escape – but we do offer WiFi if needed. (Note that the television features antenna-only local stations.)

Our Wilderness Escape Chalet is perfect for a family or friends getaway with:

• A master bedroom suite on the main level.
• Loft with lots of additional sleeping space (queen size bed in the master; both a queen and a full in the loft).
• If needed, the couch in the great room also folds out to a sleeper. A Pack N Play is available for a $25 fee.
• Full kitchen open to the great room.
• Large deck and an outdoor fire-pit.
• Children’s outdoor play area.
• 4-legged family members (no cats, please) are also welcome (nightly $35 fee will apply).

Our chalets come with a full-time concierge staff to make sure you are well prepared for your vacation and that your questions are answered quickly before and during your visit.

50% due at time of booking.
Remaining balance due 30 days before arrival. Cancellation Policy:
100% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 30 days before arrival or earlier, less a $100 processing fee.                                                                                                                                                    No refund for cancellations less than 30 days or for shortened stays. Damage deposit:
$59 policy for coverage up to $1500

Very well maintained and very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with plenty of room. Enjoyed the deck and bonfire areas for relaxing and catching up. Property owners were great to work with and very responsive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This A-Frame is great! I expected it to be cute from the pictures, but it was more updated than I imagined. Very clean. Lots of towels and stocked items. The set-up is spacious, and we would definitely come back for a weekend!
